WizardLv. 3

Material

A material spell allows the wizard to actually bring into being certain common substances. Raw, unworked materials such as stone, earth (soil), or wood of average quality are easily gained by means of this spell. Similarly, other inorganic or non-living materials such as water, air, dung, straw, etc., can be conjured.

Living matter cannot be created by means of this spell. In no event can worked, refined, or fabricated items be brought into being by a material spell, nor can rough gems or precious metals. Basic materials of higher than average quality can be attempted; the wizard has a 1% chance per level to bring such materials into existence. The spell essentially enables the wizard to create common substances of a basic nature.

Notes: Uncommon spell. (Updated from Unearthed Arcana.)
