Cut

By means of this useful spell, thin objects such as rope, cord, delicate chain, wire, cloth, wax candles, sausages, and the like, up to 1 inch thick per level of the caster, can be instantly severed. The caster must be able to see the object to be cut, and it must be within 10 feet. The verbal component is a soft "snick" sound, and the somatic component is a scissoring motion made with two adjoining fingers. Magical (even temporarily enspelled) objects are unaffected by this spell.
