Cloak of Warding

The cloak of wanting creates an invisible energy shield to absorb damage from all attacks against the caster. The cloak absorbs 3d4 points of damage plus 1 point per level of the caster. It can deflect damage from a single attack or from a number of successive attacks. The spell has a maximum duration of 1 round per level of the caster.

The cloak dissipates when its duration lapses or when it has absorbed all the damage it can.
