Ice Blade

This spell creates a swirling sword-shaped formation of jagged, fast-swirling ice shards extending from the caster's hand. Weightless and non-metallic, it is considered a +2 enchanted weapon for purposes of determining what it can hit and strikes at THAC0 6, regardless of the caster's normal combat abilities. An ice blade can pass through (be swept across) parrying weapons and obstacles such as trees without being stopped by them. Its touch lacerates for 3d4 points of damage and chills for an additional Id6 points of damage.

The material component for this spell is a shard of ice, glass, or crystal.
