By using this spell, the shukenja is able to soothe the minds of those affected by fear, temporary insanity, confusion, and other forms of mental distress. It cancels the effect on the recipients, restoring them to their normal mental state. The shukenja points at the recipients and utters a few holy scriptures, triggering the spell. However, the recipients, since their mental distress makes them unwilling targets, must each make a saving throw vs. spell, attempting to avoid the effect. If the saving throw is successful, the spell has no effect. If the save is failed, the creature is calmed.
The material component for this spell is a prayer wheel or a page of sutras.
Notes: Common for priests of an oriental culture; otherwise, very rare.
